CHALLENGE #4: THE H-E-B UNBAGGING CHALLENGE

We’ve all seen unboxing videos, but you’re going to make the first unbagging videos! H-E-B is going to ship you a grocery bag filled with cool products and it’s going to be your job to tell us what you’re seeing and experiencing in the most compelling way possible, on video. Who knows what will be in your bag? We’ll do our best to keep the element of surprise alive, you do the rest. Some tips for your submission:

• Keep it entertaining! No matter what may be in your bag, you have to ensure that fans are watching your video all the way to the end.
• Think about how this would look if you were doing this for the Outlaws and we were sharing it with all our fans.
• Now’s the time to show off your editing skills, so don’t be sparing on that!
• H-E-B is a partner on this challenge, so keep that in mind while making it and how you’re representing not only the Outlaws, but them as well.

Submission criteria will be the same for each challenge, including this one. We’re looking for creativity, innovation, entertainment value, quality, and artistically being able to integrate both the Outlaws and our partners. For this, we are also requiring the following:

• Your bag will have come in the same shipment as your Mukbang box. If you have any issues at all, contact [email protected] immediately to sort out your bag!
• No less than three (3) minutes long.
• Anything that is disparaging to the Outlaws, our partners, fans or that is offensive or inappropriate will be immediately disqualified  and eliminated from our search.
• Original content for this challenge; please don’t submit something you’ve done in the past.
• If you wish to include a graphic of the H-E-B logo, please use the exact logo attached here.
• Before you go public, please send us your final product in an email to [email protected] before the submission deadline of January 22, 2021 at 11:59pm CST. If you submit earlier, we can give you feedback on your submission if you’re way off the mark! Once we approve your submission then you can go live!
• Submissions must be posted on YouTube or Twitter. If you are posting to YouTube, make sure you share your video to Twitter and tagging @Outlaws and using the hashtag #OutlawsMostWanted. Twitter video can be uploaded natively and should also tag @Outlaws and using the hashtag #OutlawsMostWanted.
• Feel free to use the H-E-B branded graphic elements we have provided and let us know if you don’t have these!
• Winners who will advance to the next phase will be picked on or by January 27, 2021.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

Each submission will be judged by a TO BE ANNOUNCED panel made up of Houston Outlaws players, influencers and industry experts. They will be looking for the following attributes:

• Creativity and innovation
• Entertainment value and quality
• Ability to artistically integrate both Outlaws and our partners’ brands into your content
• Engagement on social media

How old do I have to be to enter?
You must be 18 years of age on the date of your submission. 

Do I have to be an Overwatch content creator to be eligible?
No. You can play whatever game(s) you want!

I don’t have Twitter, can I still enter?
You must submit via that platform and linking a YouTube video in a Twitter post is ok; our recommendation is that you sign up for one so that your content can be seen by more people. 

What if I don’t live in the United States or Texas?
The competition is open to all residents who live in the contiguous forty-eight (48) United States. Sorry Hawaii and Alaska residents. 

When will you be announcing the judges?
This will happen shortly after we announce the Top 25 in December.

Who is judging the competition?
The Top 25 will be selected by the Outlaws content team. The remaining challenges will be judged by a group of highly qualified people in the esports and entertainment industries.

Is Danteh one of the judges?
Maybe. Stay tuned. 

Will any of these challenges require me to be on Twitch?
Yes. 

What are the details of these official contracts?
They will all be year-long agreements with expected deliverables in exchange for monetary compensation. Full details to follow. 

Will we have enough time to prepare all of our challenges?
Yes. At a minimum you will have a week for each challenge.
