Outlaws won ESL Southeast Championship for a second time in a row

Bulgarian CS:GO team defended the title in Sofia

With the strong ambition to defend their title from ESL Southeast Championship (SEC) Serbia last year, Outlaws succeeded in winning the tournament’s Season 5, during On Fest, in Sofia, Bulgaria. On June 24th, the Bulgarian derby was held between Outlaws presented of Teodor SPELLAN Nikolov, Ivan Rock1nG Stratiev, Tsvetelin CeRq Dimitrov, Nikola NK4Y Radushev and Nikolay niki1 Pantaleev and team Imperial. Outlaws won the semi-final with 2-1, taking Overpass and Mirage. The Serbian team Binary Dragons won over Romanian Nexus Gaming and secured its place on the grand-final with Outlaws.

The match between Outlaws and Binary Dragons started with map Train, where Bulgarians won the first battle with 19:17. Nuke was the second map picked by Binary Dragons where team Outlaws dominated with 16:9 and won their second ESL SEC trophy as well as 2500 €.

Tsvetelin CeRq Dimitrov was selected as the best player of the match with 0.82 kills per round and 1.40 rating.

Outlaws coach Anton Georgiev commented: “The team and everyone in the organization is pretty happy of our ESL SEC 2017 first place. It was truly amazing to defend the title for the second consecutive year and especially in our homeland Bulgaria. We want to thank our fans for the strong support and motivation!”
